Founded in 2017, Transinclusive Group advocates to protect and defend equality for all Transgender and LGBTQ+ individuals in South Florida, with a concentrated focus on serving people of color. We are dedicated to building trust and relationships with community providers to end discrimination, stigma, and racial disparities in order to address social determinants of health.
Transinclusive Group serves the Transgender, Nonbinary, and Gender Diverse community and all LGBTQ+ individuals, with a concentrated focus on serving people of color. We envision a community where all Transgender, Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, and Queer+ individuals can achieve their human potential equally and equitably through education, healthy lives, and financial stability, free of stigma and discrimination.
Transinclusive Group provides a sense of family in a safe, supportive space to increase knowledge of community resources, allowing individuals to learn from one another, sharing personal experiences, survival skills, new behaviors and sharing information on local resources.
Transinclusive Group's Resource Center and peer support groups are safe spaces that nurture diversity and inclusion where individuals can share their struggles, triumphs, and needs. We provide a wide spectrum of innovative initiatives including HIV prevention and education; referrals for essential support services including healthcare, mental health assessments, substance abuse treatment, transitional housing, and access to workforce agencies. We also provide navigation to HIV prevention medication; linkage to care for newly HIV diagnosed individuals and those that may be lost to care. Our frequent events, town halls, and gatherings bring the community together and our advocacy work draws highlights important issues, challenges, and opportunities for solidarity and movement building.
